"Circa:1265 is a medieval re-enactment and living history society well into its second decade. It is primarily dedicated to demonstrating and recreating everyday life around the Baronial Wars of the 1260s. In addition to this core period, we have also developed authentic kit to cover notable events towards the end of that century."
This group has done an excellent job, and their Web sites are full of good information. If you are interested in the13th Century, please check them out.
I was particularly impressed with this Male Clothing and Knightly Armour of the 1250's page. I have traded email with the author, Andy Goddard, and he is a very pleasant and helpful man.
Andy's page on braies, or medieval underwear, is also excellent. You can buy braies at various costume shops, but they don't look like the ones in the old drawings. Andy's look like the genuine article.
