Blazon

Argent, a lion rampant sable, and on a chief vert three Latin crosses argent

The "blazon" of a medieval shield or coat of arms is the written description of the picture.  These descriptions are usually written in a pidgin of English and middle French.  For example, green is blazoned as "vert" and a vertical stripe is a "pale."

My device, my pictorial signature, is blazoned as "Argent, a lion rampant sable, and on a chief vert three Latin crosses argent."
